Josh Mandel doesn't know what he thinks
I caught this via BFD, from Tim at DG
Jill, Jeff & I invited Josh to sit down with Meet The Bloggers. What followed was a sad caricature of just about everything that is wrong with politics in America today. Josh declined. I tried to change his mind. Emails went back and forth. Josh consulted advisors, who unanimously told him not to do it. Josh then offered to do the interview if he could approve the questions. That, of course, was out of the question. Interview not happening.
Like George I couldn't see Josh's party affilation on his website either (He's a Republican - so can't blame him for wanting to mask that).
Look, if you need to have questions scripted, or approved then you're either not ready or not fit for office - it really is that simple. If you want to skate through a campaign on spin and control - again you're either not fit or not ready for office.
If you have ever listened to a MTB session it isn't some excercise in gotcha. It's a level headed, fair, and open conversation.
Come on Josh. you served in Iraq, surely you can sit down for an hour and have a semi intelligent political conversation with some bloggers and fellow citizens - or, well, maybe you're just not ready or fit for office.
