Edwards To Endorse Obama

I know you're probably caught up in other news, but John Edwards has finally made in endorsement. CNN is reporting that Edwards will endorse Barack Obama at a Michigan campaign event in about 30 minutes.

How can you not marvel at ignorant hopeless, helpless, "change-nts" of Obama?
McCain isn't going to be the nice guy when he needs to win.
One more act of terrorism on U.S. soil before November election and Obama is done in this election.
One "October surprise" (Iran) and Obama is done in this election.
One allegation of recent drug use and Obama is done in this election.

It'd be 'terrible mistake' to pick McCain to battle Obama in the general election.
Barak Hussain Obama will LOSE in a race against McCain. McCain is too White and to Republican-"lite" to lose to a socialists liberal non flag-lapel-pin wearing, non "hand-over-your-heart" pledge of allegiance-r will be a good candidate over a POW Vietnam Veteran barely endorsed by Republicans.
This is a "race"- contest.
Bush is going to do ANYTHING to help the republicans a la "Wag the Dog."
One October surprise from Bush (Iran nuke crisis or a terrorist attack) and everyone will see Obama's naive policies won't work.
One quarter of the nations population is a military veteran. Veterans vote, and will vote for McCain.
Obama will get "swift-boat-ed" against McCain by 527's.
Florida voters will retaliate if they aren't heard in the primary and their vote will go to McCain. Not good for a swing state.
As a minority I don't agree with people voting for a candidate based purely on race, just as I don't agree with people voting on gender. Nine-to-one ratio of black voters are supporting Obama...this is a RACE contest.
Oprah ratings have dropped 20% since supporting Obama. White women resent that their trusted icon and hero chose race over gender. He show ratings have dropped and her advertisers are are fleeing...people are voting for Oprah with their checkbooks and she is losing!
When McCain takes off the gloves Obama won't be able to defend his positions on Rev. Wright or allegations of recent drug use and abuse.
White people are afraid of and HATE urban sterotypes of black gang-bangers and will flee from Obama when his drug issues are brought up by McCain. Obama can't beat McCain.
Hillary is the only chance of a democrat in 2008.
All it will take is one video of Obama at a 4th of July event with his hand by his side during the National Anthem, split screen (side by side comparison) with Hillary WITH her hand over her heart and Obama is DONE in this election!

Isn't it funny that some people think that somehow Hillary can defeat John McCain even though she lost- yes, she's lost- to Barack Hussein Obama.
By your logic, what democrats should do is pander to people you categorize as fixed, bigoted, and unable to be reasoned with. Yes, let's pander to people's fear. That's the OLD way, the NEW way is to appeal to people's aspiration and love of country, and to inspire people to raise up rather than scare them and push down.
Obama, the black guy, can never win over "hard working whites"-- except all of them who voted for him. Let's remember that Hillary was winning a year ago and people have heard of her for 20 years. She was out campaigned and out organized by a dude named Barack Hussein Obama who "came out of nowhere" (you know, "nowhere", where the rest of us live!)
Let's re-examine what's been happening- think a little while ago and tell me that an African-American mixed race guy named Barack Hussein Obama could get 26% of democrat voters in West Virginia to support him for President of the United States!
Are we to just say to the rest of West Virginia, "Screw it, we understand that you guys can never be sophisticated enough to understand the difference between John McCain and the Black Guy, so we're not even going to try".
It's the Clinton approach that insults and offends the intelligence of the American citizen voter. Obama is saying he has faith in the People and others are saying that the people are a lost cause.
John Edwards was moved to endorse Obama the way he did because the Clinton team was busy trying to convince people that Obama can't win "hard-working whites". Edwards, like many of us, is sick and tired of that kind of balkanization of the electorate that has brought us exactly to the place we are today!
Change. That's what's happening, and the change is that the People are actually being invited to participate instead of being sold a bunch of school-uniform-flag-burning-bullshit and told to go back to sleep while the smart lady fixes everything.

I am telling why Hillary persists.
I don't agree with anything being based on race or gender...it is qualifications.
Should we IGNORE what America really is?
Racist and scared. Scared of anything that isn't the same as them. AS a MINORITY I KNOW WHAT AMERICA IS!
THAT is why Obama can't be the nominee not because of ME but because of AMERICA and where we,we,we are as a society.
NO ammount of "leading" is going to bring us out of what we are, THAT has to occur as people become MORE INFORMED.
Many treat Obama as the new Martin Luther King Jr. and he isn't. School uniform flag burning bullshit is what America is... NASCAR and BUCKEYE FOOTBALL Not what latte drinkers and red wine sippers want it to be.....it isn't I, that is ignorant, it is others that choose to ignore what the real social climate is. 90% of people don't use logic to chose their political candidate, they use EMOTION.

Either of them can lose all day long it doesn't matter. What matters is who the DNC THINKS can WIN. Voters don't matter, Election 2000, did you miss it?

Good thing you weren't paid to tell people how to invest in this election year, because your sense of the electorate and the eventual outcome was dead wrong, and your clients would be pissed at you.

You don't know the Clinton's, you don't know their strategy, their tactics even though I have outlined what they are doing play-by-play.
It's cool though, just keep watching them and watch the fireworks BECAUSE AS I HAVE STATED ON THIS BLOG BEFORE, THE CLINTON WAR MACHINE WILL CONTINUE TO USE PR TACTICS OR MEDIA AND SENSORY OVERLOAD UNTIL THEY GET WHAT THEY WANT.
There is a great deal of writing on the back room deals that the Clinton's have made to get where they want to go.
Bill is determined to get to the U.N. and Hillary is determined to get to the White House.

4. Political mudslinging of issues NOT YET addresses by media. Clintons (& Republicans) are sitting on oppo research (on Obama) that can't be used strategically until closer time to DNC convention. A "Jack in the Box"/Smear Campaign. Obama knows this is coming and has takes steps to keep the lid on his recent past, whether or not it works remains to be seen.

If you are so thoroughly convinced that Florida is crucial to the presidential nominee, you don't "get it."
I haven't counted upon or considered Florida at any point in this entire cycle. I couldn't care less if Florida votes Democratic in 2008, because Florida does not matter in 2008. The west is where the population is shifting more than to Florida, and every day each western state becomes increasingly Democratic, just like Franklin County, Ohio. Colorado is set to become a Democratic stronghold in the next decade. The same goes for Nevada and New Mexico. Oregon and Washington are growing in Democratic majorities. Midwestern states like Minnesota and Iowa are becoming more Democratic, as well, even though Minnesota has long been Democratic for presidential races. North Carolina is growing and as it grows, it trends Democratic. Virginia is trending Democratic. These states together blow Florida out of the water in population, electoral votes, money, and overall political power.
As for Florida's trends, within the next 15 years, Raul Castro will likely be dead, but his movement of Cuban society towards western reforms will eventually open the nation more to the outside world. Soon, the Miami anti-Castro Anglo-Cuban Republican voting bloc that funnels money and support into the Florida Republican Party will be useless. Democratic margins in south Florida will increase. As more people earn college degrees throughout Florida, more will vote Democratic. That is a demographic fact that is true nationwide--the higher your level of education, the more likely you are to be liberal.
I'm not going to spend too much of my time detailing policy reasons why Obama is going to win, because the reasons have been hashed-out ad nauseam and are so obvious it's useless to repeat them. It's going to happen. It's that simple.
The people I know who are most down on Obama's chances are black or Republican. Republicans speak for themselves on why they can't imagine Obama winning. But for my black friends, it's a matter of disbelief that he CAN win because of his skin color. Even so, they back him 100%. This nation is not what it was 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 100 years ago. People have seen the detrimental effects of continuing to vote for rich white men who don't give a damn about middle America.
I had very little faith in the bulk of the people of this country four years ago, but my faith grows with each passing day, as more and more people openly espouse rhetoric that shows that they "get it." Perhaps it took $4/gallon gas, I don't know. But people now understand that we have tough choices ahead that will determine the next century of American history. They don't want a divisive, self-centered hothead looking for a fight to sit in the Oval Office. They've seen that play-out for eight years. Nor do they want a tempermental, self-centered, megalomaniacal man who confuses major international political hotbuttons on a daily basis, doesn't understand the economy, and wants to fight every nation on earth.
You can deny the truth until you turn blue in the face, but one of Obama's earliest rhetorical points is more true today than it has ever been in the past: this is not about a candidate, it's about this country. People are moving to Obama not because of who he is, but because of what he represents.
He is something new. He will have his failures and struggles, and he is careful to remind people of that, for fear of losing their faith in the long-term. But he knows better than anyone that this election is like a rolling stone gathering moss. The longer it drags on, the thicker the sentiment becomes. Those who have held out on and opposed Obama for this long have done so believing that there is another way out there someplace. John Edwards just reminded everyone that there is no other way. It is forward or backward, and backward will place us in a depression. John McCain is Herbert Hoover II, and everyone with intellectual honesty and a sixth-grade education is smart enough to know it.
WOW. How can you not marvel at the Obama campaign?
