In 2006, McCain said sooner or later we’ll talk to Hamas, not appropriate now), Unilateral action against suspected terrorists in Pakistan (Confused leadership with Obama, not with Bush) Warrantless wiretapping, Torturing Detainees, Indefinitely holding detainees, Iraq War, Tax cuts for the rich, Estate tax, Privatizing Social Security, Balanced budget, Windfall profits tax, Offshore drilling, Bush fundraisers, Jerry Falwell, Pastor John Hagee, MLK Jr. holiday, South Africa divestment, the confederate flag, and alternatives to evolution being taught at school

Yes, that was Olbermann's list from Tuesday night, but Dave Harding at Progress Ohio took the time to go out and find sources to back up each of those flip-flops, hence my Hattip to them Progress Ohio.

I don't care where the list came from...I LOVE it! It shows what we all know: all politicians change their positions over time...if they didn't, they wouldn't be at all thoughtful, and I'd be very worried. This at least gives Obama an effective talking point to counter the inevitable "flopper" ads from the RNC.

he's always coming out against himself! I look forward to the debates--among McCain 1998, McCain2000, McCain 2002, McCain2004, McCain2006 and McCain2008. They promise to be mighty cantakerous, since all the McCains have a temper!
Wouldn't it be great if Colbert ran these debates, like he does the ones where he debates himself?
